Nigel started his career with a traditional Marine Lloyd’s Broker in the late 1970s and with a break of 5 years around 2000 when he worked in the UK Commercial Insurance Retail markets, he has spent the rest of his career dedicated to marine insurance and reinsurance clients. The 15 years prior to joining Everard in March 2021 he held positions as Managing Director and Deputy CEO of two Lloyd’s brokers. Nigel has dealt with all classes of the transportation chain and specialises in Hull & Machinery Protection & Indemnity and waters edge industry including Ports, Terminals, Shipbuilding and repair yards.

Following a family tradition in Lloyd’s being a fourth generation mariner Tim started his career in Lloyd’s as a trainee Underwriter with a Lloyd’s Syndicate 144 in 1984. In 1991 he joined the Institute of London Underwriters as an Energy/Marine Underwriter. In 1993 he moved into Marine Insurance Broking joining Everard Insurance Services, where he become a Company Director in 2000. He took Everard Insurance Brokers through a management buyout in 2011 and then through the acquisition by the Seventeen Group which resulted with Everard Insurance Brokers becoming the Marine Insurance trading division of James Hallam Limited. Now an Ambassador for group, Tim is at hand to assist and offer professional, advice and guidance to clients, Everard staff, on matters related to the Marine Insurance Sector.

Justyn started in the Insurance Industry 24 years ago as a general insurance broker before progressing into an account executive. Between 2003 and 2007 he broadened his insurance knowledge and took up an underwriting role. Justyn joined Everard insurance brokers in 2014 as an account executive and was appointed Marine Trades manager in 2017. He specialises in Marine Property & Plant, Marine Engineering, Marine Equipment, Marine Liabilities, Marinas & Harbours. Underwriting renewals and new business for our retail division including referrals. He manages and provides insurance solutions for wholesale brokers . Justyn has overall responsibility for the binding authority and is coverholder on behalf of a leading Marine Liability Lloyds syndicate. Justyn services marine trade clients in the UK, EU and Internationally.

Michael started his career 19 years ago working for Benfields, now known as Aon Benfield. He has also worked for Aslford Page and Gems and Channing Lucas and Partners specialising in all classes of Marine London Market Insurance and Reinsurance business. Michael was appointed Marine Shipping Team Manager at Everard in June 2021.

Adam started in the insurance industry 10 years ago working as a general insurance broker. Between 2012 and 2016 he worked in personal lines before developing his knowledge in commercial lines from 2016-2019. Adam joined Everard insurance brokers in 2020 as an account handler servicing retail clients and developing his book of business. Adam works closely with our business development team and takes pride in assisting new customer with their insurance needs. He specialises in Marine Property & Plant, Marine Engineering Equipment, Liabilities, Harbours & Marinas along with general non marine commercial insurance requirements clients including Fleet, Cargo, Engineering, Management Liability, and other covers to support his clients. Adam supports marine trades business in the UK.

Lewis started in the insurance industry 2 years ago as a general Insurance broker account handling for a large independent UK broker. He joined Everard Insurance Brokers in May 2021 as a Junior Account Handler and manages the technical functions required for being a Lloyds broker. He specialises in Marine Property & Plant, Marine Engineering, Marine Equipment, Marine Liabilities, Marinas & Harbours. Underwriting renewals and assisting new business for our retail division. He manages and provides insurance solutions for wholesale brokers. He is a coverholder on behalf of a leading Marine Liability Lloyds syndicate. Robyn started in the Insurance Industry 14 years ago working as a general insurance broker and as a claims technician. Between 2015 and 2021 she worked for WPS general broking and account handling. When WPS were acquired by James Hallam Ltd she moved into the marine division, Everard Insurance Brokers, in January 2021 as an account handler servicing both SME and corporate retail clients. She specialises in Marine Property & Plant, Marine Engineering Equipment, Liabilities, Harbours & Marinas along with general non marine commercial insurance requirements clients including Fleet, Cargo, Engineering, Management Liability, and other covers to support her clients. Robyn supports marine trades business in the UK.

Mike started in the Insurance Industry 25 years ago and worked for a number of general insurance companies as a customer manager and team leader between 1997 to 2000. He expanded his knowledge into broking as both account handler and account manager from 2000. Mike joined WPS insurance brokers in 2004 as an account handler. When WPS were acquired by James Hallam Ltd he moved into the marine division, Everard Insurance Brokers, in November 2020 as a Client Executive. He specialises in Marine Property & Plant, Marine Engineering Equipment, Liabilities, Harbours & Marinas along with general non marine commercial insurance requirements clients including Fleet, Cargo, Engineering, Management Liability, and other covers to support his clients. Mike supports marine trades business in the UK.

Jon started in the insurance Industry 37 years ago as a general Insurance broker. Between 1985 and 2022 he expanded his knowledge and skill sets into underwriting, business development and managing teams. Jon Joined EIB in October 2018 after being with James Hallam since July 2016. Andrew has been in the insurance claims industry since 1985 having shared his time between a national insurer, a regional broker and now a national broker, dealing with a wide range of claims across many sectors. He joined the Everard team in 2020 where he looks forward to helping our Marine Trades clients in their time of need.

Andrew started in the Insurance Industry 34 years ago as Financial Adviser and General Insurance Handler (6 years). He broadened his experience into general Insurance Broking and account executive between 1994 to 2006. Andrew became a Company Director for his own Insurance Broking business from 2006 to 2018 before this was sold to James Hallam Ltd. He moved into the marine division, Everard Insurance Brokers, in 2020 servicing local clients and supporting the business development team. He specialises in Marine Property & Plant, Marine Engineering Equipment, Liabilities, Harbours & Marinas along with general non marine commercial insurance requirements clients including Fleet, Cargo, Engineering, Management Liability, and other covers to support his clients. Tracy started in the Insurance Industry 41 years ago as a general insurance broker. Between 1981 and 1996 she specialised in Personal Lines before taking on a position as an Underwriting Assistant specialising in the USA, Dutch and Honduran book of marine business until 2015. Tracy joined Everard insurance brokers in 2017 as an account handler before becoming a Marine Trades underwriter in 2021. She specialises in Marine Property & Plant, Marine Engineering, Marine Equipment, Marine Liabilities, Marinas & Harbours.
